Marketing Strategy

InfoComm China 2018

Project Date: Nov 8-11, 2018

InfoComm Chengdu was a monumental event for InFocus as we were absence in tradeshows in China for more than 3 years.  We had an impactful comeback by presenting the latest products and solutions that the market has long waited for.  Additionally, we were interviewed by several provincial and local media and press. 

 

I was responsible for the booth management and one of the most impressive new products "small pixel pitch LED display". 

 

Co-organizing with our exclusive partner in China, we were able to utilize a lot of their resources. However, most of our products were in the public for the first time, we had to do most of the works, e.g. brochure design, sales training, event preparation etc.

 

The booth design was considered the most challenging part for me. As the APAC branch of an internationally well-known company, we must uphold the branding rules and conveying the same message while localizing to satisfy local demand. As InfoComm is a tradeshow many experts attend, we use technical indicators to differentiate ourselves and show the target market what are we capable of doing, instead of using cliches to attract the audience.

 

Eventually, our booth received high praises regarding products and design and reached the traffic for around 2K visitors in 3 days.
