How I became a designer
My grandpa once worried that I didn't talk until I was 2. Then, he complained that I talked non-stop ever since (jk). My teachers would agree with him. Fast-forward, I turned my passion for talking into my career, where I got a graduate degree in translation and started as a conference interpreter for a tech company. Determined to grow professionally in various fields, I went beyond just delivering messages. I leveraged my interpersonal communication skills to manage product development projects and host tradeshows. With exposure to mismatches between internal processes and customers' expectations (shh🤫), my mentors inspired me to dive into user-centered design. That's how I started my journey in UX, and still using my passion for talking to evangelize user behaviors and convince stakeholders to hop on this journey with me.
